Fun Facts 

  • Swindells Hall was one of the nation’s first environmentally sensitive buildings, using innovative technology and less resources; recycled materials were used throughout, and the design of the building ensures efficient use of electricity and heating and cooling systems. 
  • Building materials include: automobile windshields for wall tiles, recycled glass for bathroom tiles and counter tops, fly ash in the concrete foundation, recycled brick exterior, and recycled-material carpets with odorless adhesives.
